For about one year, I have been sorting through thousands of pennies per week. Yesterday, I found a penny that I first thought was a 1943 steel cent wheat penny.

However, on closer inspection I saw that this is a 1995 Lincoln Memorial Cent. I had never seen a penny like this before. It appears to be in very good condition- I do not have any idea what the official "grade" would be if sent to a professional grading service. Anyway, I immediately put the penny in a holder, as seen in the photos. More precisely, it appears to be a nonplated or unplated zinc planchet (a zinc penny without the copper plating).
